Midnight Rider
This piece was hand built with clay and then went through the raku firing technique. I was inspired to make this piece at midnight, hence the name, as a memory of me floating through a river on a kayak when I was little came back to me. This piece shows how I felt in that moment of time, like I was the only one out in space.
Functional Teapot
This piece was also hand built with clay and used slab attachment techniques. I wanted to make a teapot that is very simple and looks clean, as sharing tea with someone is one of the most simple yet calming things in life.
