My cumulation of four years' worth of artmaking is, visually and conceptually, driven by curiosity. Through my work, I investigate questions and inquiries that arise as I progress; not "what-is-the-meaning-of-life", questions, but things like: What inspires me? What happens if I layer this-glaze over that-glaze? How do my own experiences fuel my creations?
Parental Advisory
What color/shape/size/form/material do I want to experiment with next? The answers to these questions have resulted in sculptures, busts, teapots, bowls and jugs, intricate acrylic paintings, watercolors, rolls of experimental film, digital photography & editing, and so much more.
Portrait of an Open Heart
My time in the art department at Tam has provided me with opportunities, friendships, and experiences that I will never forget; and every person I've met along the way has supported me and pushed my growth. College is the next step in my artist journey, and genuinely, I have utterly no clue where it might take me. Until the time comes for me to decide what that might be, I'll keep exploring.
